The Last Cocktail (Brooklyn, early March 2020) – Effie Pasagiannis
Peach Bourbon Belle
old jazz decanting
filtering out the
hum of voices
as we join together
at a crossroads
of promise
a snapshot of how
life could be,
life of intersecting
lovers of high notes
and words intoxicated
on forgetting
